Come join us in serving our community and celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Wednesday, May 28th.
Join Â鶹ÊÓƵ Tulsa on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, for our annual Â鶹ÊÓƵ Day of Service, a powerful day of service honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This community-wide event mobilizes AmeriCorps members, staff, and local volunteers across Tulsa to serve side-by-side in meaningful, hands-on projects that uplift our city.Ìý
The day begins with a central opening ceremony at 8:00 AM, where participants will gather for breakfast, inspiration, and instructions for the day. Service projects will run from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM, followed by lunch and closing activities. Volunteers will serve at locations including the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, Iron Gate, Emergency Infant Services, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and more.Ìý
The day concludes with a moment of reflection at each site, recognizing the collective impact of service, community, and unity.Ìý
Whether you’re helping in a food pantry, spreading positivity in community spaces, or packaging food for distribution to neighbors in need, MLK Day of Service is about honoring Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community, one act of service at a time.Ìý
