Since 2013, Â鶹ÊÓƵ and the Taco Bell Foundation have worked together to help students and schools succeed. The foundation’s support also creates opportunities for Â鶹ÊÓƵ AmeriCorps members to hone their professional skills while developing into the next generation of civically-minded leaders.
The Taco Bell Foundation this school year is providing more than $850,000 to 23 Â鶹ÊÓƵ sites across the country, the most locations of any National Partner. Through both team and program sponsorships, the foundation enables more Â鶹ÊÓƵ AmeriCorps members to serve as student success coaches in middle and high school. The academic, social and emotional support that AmeriCorps members provide students helps them develop their strengths and stay on track to graduate with the skills to achieve their goals.
Since 1992, the Taco Bell Foundation has reached more than 4 million young people across the country and has awarded more than $95 million in grants and scholarships focused on education and career readiness. The foundation’s Live Más Scholarship is available to students and qualifying Â鶹ÊÓƵ AmeriCorps members, helping them follow their dreams and become leaders who change the world for the better.
