Â鶹ÊÓƵ New York AmeriCorps Members act as positive role models and near-peer mentors to elementary and middle school public school students. By partnering with NYC teachers, “Â鶹ÊÓƵs” drive measurable gains in academic and social emotional performance through in-class intervention, as well as robust after school programs.

Research shows that even academically prepared students are at risk of falling off track. Â鶹ÊÓƵ supported students, ensuring that:
85% of students stayed on track in English Language Arts with a C or higher
87% of students stayed on track in mathematics with a C or higher
