Leadership in Little Rock

Our executive director, staff, alumni, board members and partners are committed to building a stronger Little Rock by supporting and developing our AmeriCorps members as leaders in their schools and community.

Courtney Brown

Impact Director

As Director of Impact, Courtney oversees Â鶹ÊÓƵ Little Rock’s (CYLR) program delivery at its partner schools. She supports AmeriCorps members’ service by ensuring quality student interventions, enhancing school partnerships and providing local learning and leadership development opportunities.

Before joining CYLR in 2022, she was an elementary school’s Instructional Coach and a district Reading Initiative for Student Excellence (R.I.S.E.) trainer. She is a former kindergarten and first-grade teacher; and taught in Nashville, TN for seven years. She’s English Language Learner certified, has a bachelor’s degree in arts and sciences: elementary education and a master’s in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in reading.

Courtney is married to her high school sweetheart; they have 2 beautiful children and a dog.

Brittany Paul

Senior Manager of Special Projects

Brittany is a native of Arkansas. She graduated from Cabot High and went on to graduate college from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway with a Bachelor of Science.

She is most proud of her daughter, Ellie (8). Whether it is traveling on the weekends for her All-Star Cheer competitions or taking time to slow down to enjoy the Arkansas outdoors along with their Labradoodle (Coco), it is her favorite thing to do!

Brittany has over 10 years of experience in non-profit annual giving and events, and is excited to learn and grow with Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

Marquita Rogers

Director of Development & External Relations

Marquita Rogers is a passionate advocate for education, mentorship, and community development. With a background in AmeriCorps, she has dedicated her life to empowering underserved youth and young adults. Currently serving as the Director of Development and External Relations for Â鶹ÊÓƵ Little Rock, Marquita bridges the gap between the organization and the community to ensure access to resources and support for every young person. Her work is fueled by the belief in the power of small acts of kindness to make a significant impact. Marquita’s career highlights include connecting young adults to national service opportunities and witnessing their growth and success. Inspired by Mae Jemison’s quote, she encourages others to break free from limitations and imagines a world where everyone can thrive. Marquita enjoys being a devoted dog mom to her miniature schnauzer, Duchess Harper Rogers, in her free time.
