Meet Lori Halvorson
Senior Vice President & Executive Director for Â鶹ÊÓƵ Baton Rouge

Lori Halvorson, a Minnesota Native, has built her career on service. After graduating from Carleton College with a double major in French and Francophone Studies and African/African American studies, Lori served in the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso. Upon returning back to the states, Lori joined Teach for America, which brought her to Baton Rouge. After teaching High School French for two years in Baker, LA, Lori joined the staff at Â鶹ÊÓƵ Baton Rouge. With the exception of a one-year stint teaching 7th Grade English at an International School in Lagos, Nigeria, Lori has been with Â鶹ÊÓƵ ever since. She’s served in various capacities, from Impact Manager to Evaluation and Training to People and Operations to Interim Executive Director (twice!). She’s thrilled to continue serving CYBR, a place she’s called home for 12 years.
