Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is proud to partner with Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, which provides master’s programs in social work, public health and social policy, offering a minimum $20,000 annual scholarship to all Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ applicants as well as two $50,000 Dean's Scholarships to two applicants per cohort.

$20,000-$50,000 Scholarships

The Brown School is proud to offer a guaranteed, minimum $20,000 annual scholarship to all Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ member and alumni admitted to our MSW or MSP programs. Additionally, the Brown School reserves two (2) $50,000 Dean’s Scholarships to be awarded to exceptional Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ MSW applicants in each incoming cohort.

All Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ applicants are also eligible to be considered for other scholarships from the Brown School.

Scholarships are awarded to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ staff employed for at least two years.

Additional benefits

  • Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ members are encouraged to reach out to brownadmission@wustl.edu for a $50 application fee waiver.
  • Enrollment deferral: The Brown School will allow deferrals for up to one year if accepted applicants decide to serve additional time with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.

To access the application fee waiver and apply for the scholarship

For students applying to the Master of Social Work (MSW) program:

Within the application to the MSW program, you will be asked to complete the Brown School Scholarship Consideration Form. Please upload the completed form to your application to ensure you are considered for scholarship.

Once you have identified your Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ affiliation in the application, your application fee will be automatically waived upon submission.

For students applying to the Master of Social Policy (MSP) program:

Within the application to the MSP program, you will be asked to complete the Brown School Scholarship Consideration Form. Please upload the completed form to your application to ensure you are considered for scholarship.
